A man and his daughter escape a war-torn Earth in hopes of hitching a ride to a new planet and a new home. When they find passage with the strange crew of the Urania they believe they are finally safe. Their journey soon becomes one of terror, not only for them but also for the crew that carries them. When the lights go out in space, sometimes they never turn back on.
