Marvin, recently bereaved and falling rapidly to tiny pieces, decides to pay a mournful visit to the beach where he first met his beloved wife, Carol.
What he doesn't expect to find is a very familiar wine bottle half-buried in the sand, a bottle that holds one last message from Carol.
Now Marvin has an unlikely mission. All he needs to do is find a girl with a ridiculous name and a unusual talent, and see if she can't point his way to a new life.
The trouble is, Marvin has no idea where to start.
