Five days before Christmas, snows begins to fall in the mountain city of Rory, Tennessee. In Runefield Heights, a family prepares for a traditional nighttime game of hide-in-seek. Nearby, a long dormant creature awakens for winter, the season in which it thrives. A night from hell is set to begin.
