Aubry was content to grow up and live on Crones Cove where she worked in her familys' shop. She had a unique birthmark on her hand, her grandmother always said she was marked for greatness. Aubry just thought her grandmother was biased.
She told Aurby she had something important to tell her when she got older but a tragic accident took her grandmother's life.
