Groot persuades his best buddy and fellow Guardian, the gun-totin' Rocket Raccoon, to go on an intergalactic road trip. However, no sooner do they being their journey than calamity strikes when an interstellar bounty hunter abducts Rocket.
Now, for the first time in years, Groot's on his own and determined to rescue his pint-sized pal, as well as making a load of new friends and enemies along the way.
