Nicolai Keeper is an operative for a nebulous U.S. government contract agency, known to him only as Mother. When Nicolai accidentally comes into possession of a mysterious encoded document called the 13th Codex, all hell breaks loose. He’s forced to run for his life. Nicolai is pursued by Mother, the Russians and a shadowy organization that asserts it only wants to help. He cannot run far enough or fast enough to escape his pursuers.
