"Me Talk Pretty One Day" is a collection of essays about the everyday life of the author, David Sedaris. In it, he sheds light on the little details of everyday life, highlighting strange encounters he has had in a number of different contexts. Accordingly, there are too many small interactions laid out in the book to mention here.
