Horror is something for ALL ages!
In the 80's and 90's, scary stories written for kids were everywhere. Children would routinely have sleepovers with friends, huddle together under blankets, read by flashlight, and freeze with terror at every creek and snap heard throughout their dark house. Horror stories for kids were fun to read! And getting scared by a book, but having the courage to read on, helped build character.
But recently, horror stories aimed at young readers seem to have evaporated, replaced only with tame, seasonal Halloween stories that are cute and spooky, but lack any real sense of terror or danger. It's time to bring horror fiction back to our brave young readers.
READ... if you DARE!
AFRAID of EVERYTHING features 26 terrifying short stories, each based on different A-to-Z phobia.
