Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a requirement, but do you think you can handle yourself with all that gear and armour in the water? Because the Teuthics can, and they’re the only thing that stands between you and a boatload of treasure. In the depths of an ancient temple the remnants of an ancient empire lurk amongst the ruins of their dead civilisation. In their slimy, yet dextrous, tentacles they clutch magical secrets, forgotten treasures, and really sharp axes.
The Teuthic Temple is a one-page OSR-compatible dungeon designed using the Monsters & Magic system. It’s a fun action-packed location and introduces the octopus (Octopoi) and squid (Sepoi) folk as both a new enemy and a playable race.
Monsters & Magic was written by Sarah Newton, acclaimed author of Mindjammer, Capharnaum, and Chronicles of Future Earth. Sarah has given a lot to the tabletop roleplaying community over many years and her dedication to the hobby as well as her creative talent has given thousands of players thousands of hours of entertainment.
Last year, Sarah suffered the tragic loss of her husband of 30 years, an event which — amongst other things — has impacted her ability to produce games like M&M and produce quality material for Mindjammer Press. The Teuthic Temple is being sold 'pay what you want' and all monies raised will be given to Sarah to help her continue producing the games we love, as well as support her through this difficult time.
