'All things Christmas' obsessed Amber and her best friend, Eve, have been planning all year to go to The Snowflake Ball. It was the only dance that all the high schools in the area attended together and therefore the main gossip topic in school for months!
When she catches a flying ball in the school corridor, the one boy she's been crushing on from afar, finally notices her. She wishes she had the guts to talk to him, instead she walks away.
