Poetry and visual artistry combine in this first in a series of collaborative works from Friendlyfire Press. In a unique process, 10 poets worked with a visual artist (Chad Griffin) in creating a whole work relating to the theme of Alchemy. PARSE Volume 1 is the fruit of this collaboration, poetry and visual art combining to manifest in a way not seen since Paris in the 1920's or the art of the Punk Rock scene in the mid-seventies.
More than just a beautiful work of art and literature, PARSE also documents the burgeoning poetry scenes of New York and Seattle. Many of the poets involved are award-winning artists in their own rights, and Friendlyfire Press is proud to present their work here for purchase.
